Tracy Chapman joined country singer Luke Combs for a rare duet performance of “Fast Car,” her monster hit from 1988, at Sunday’s Grammys ceremony. Moments later, her original song shot to No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart while her 1988 debut album, Tracy Chapman, also reached No. 1. The cover version of “Fast Car” by Combs became a hit within the last year.
