This Michelin-starred restaurant has served Buddhist temple food for over 70 years
Chef Yusuke Nomura’s grandmother opened a restaurant in the grounds of Seishoji Temple in central Tokyo in 1950. Today, he’s serving customers his innovative take on Japanese Buddhist temple food or “shojin ryori.”
