Athletics has witnessed many a remarkable sporting achievement in its time from Usain Bolt’s triple-double and Mondo Duplantis continuing to raise the bar higher and higher, among others. To that you can also add Kenya’s dominance of the Men’s 800m — with the nation winning gold at every Olympics since 2008. David Rudisha has contributed half of those four medals by winning back-to-back golds at London 2012 and Rio 2016. He’s been telling CNN’s Amanda Davies what the secret is to Kenya’s dominance in the discipline and paying tribute to the late world record marathon holder Kelvin Kiptum who tragically passed away last month.
